Will vs going to: talking about the future
English has several ways to talk about the future. Two of the most common are “will” for decisions and predictions, and “going to” for plans and evidence.

will + base verb
a decision now, or a prediction
I’ll help you with that.
我来帮你。
B
be going to + base
a plan already made, or clear evidence
We’re going to move house.
我们打算搬家。
Practise it
Q1 Look at those clouds — it ____ rain.
